Get to know Chief Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Cynthia Joan Carlyn, who serves the population of Delmar, New York

Dr. Carlyn graduated with her Medical Degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1988, giving her over three decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her medical degree she completed her internal medicine Residency and her Medical Microbiology Fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Furthering her training she completed a Fellowship in Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Emerging Infectious Diseases, and additionally she completed a course in Biomedical Ethics at Albany Medical College.
