Cynthia J. Carlyn, MD, FIDSA, is a seasoned infectious disease specialist who serves as Chief of Infectious Disease at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. Thus, she overseas 5 programs, including HIV medicine, antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention (chair), home IV antibiotics, and general infectious disease. And, she is a mentor for medical students, internal medicine interns and residents, and allergy fellows from Albany Medical Center.
